Preparing Images for Print Client-Side

Constructing high-fidelity physical prints from digital raster aggregates frequently involves third-party processing utilities or server-side rendering pipelines. By exploiting the native Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) @media print directive in conjunction with dynamic DOM manipulation, multiple images can be collated onto a unified A4-dimensioned layout purely within the client's execution environment.

The implemented architecture enables a user to import an arbitrary dataset of images via the FileReader API. These blobs are sequentially mapped into an adjustable CSS Grid structural pattern that forces dimensional constraint adherence, yielding a layout optimally configured for hardware spooling systems [1].
